A hoodie and flannel advocate, I was born and raised in the Chicago area. I'm currently studying Computer Science at Purdue University with an expected completion date of May 2020.
My areas of major interest are networks and operating systems, though I've also done some full-stack web development.
Spanish is pretty cool
Since my first Spanish class in sixth grade, I've been fascinated by the language and the culture of Spain and Latin America. I chose a Spanish minor my freshman year of college to further expand my understanding of the vibrant and diverse people of Latin American civilization.
I'm hoping to soon take a multi-week trip through South America, including Peru, Chile and Argentina as three of my destinations.
I'm at home in the great outdoors
While I enjoy writing code in the comfort of an air-conditioned room, I'm also a big fan of outdoor runs, biking, hiking and camping. It's a way to disengage from whatever I'm working on and provides an opportunity to clear my mind with some fresh air in a quiet surrounding. Given the opportunity, my top camping/hiking dream location would be Alaska.
